What we want to do

Goal of the group: to produce high-quality theatre and to produce it in English, to enrich the cultural life of international Turin. To encourage people from all walks of life, of all nationalities to work together in the pursuit of art/culture

How has ett effected you

It gave me the opportunity and incentive to write the short sketch for our English theatre evening as well as the possibility to be part of a dedicated, close group of theatrical performers and crew plus the enormous pleasure of hearing the praise and appreciation given by the audience after the ETT productions. - Sally Rava, House Manager, Crew Member, Playwright

The most rewarding part of being part of ETT and presenting 8 Women in May 2005 was the feeling of accomplishment. To have a passion for theatre and to find a possibility/venue for expressing it, is almost as fantastic as Pirandello's 6 Characters in Search of an Author. Through ETT, I was able to meet a wonderful group of women, of international backgrounds, with great entrepreneurial skills: it reminded me that everything is possible, and that team spirit and hard work are essential and stimulating. On a personal level, ETT allowed me to share views with persons who have had experiences similar to mine (changing countries, adapting to a new way of life... ) and thus to feel "more at home" in a new environment. But most of all, I have enjoyed the intellectual stimuli and the humor which are an integral part of our theatre group.
